To the Edge and Beyond!

Hi everyone!
This is an illustration I made for an art test in Games Workshop. Although the work was not meant for me, I am very happy that I have pushed my painting skills to the very edge and that the test made me cross over to another  level. This is the farthest I can go for this piece, but this is not the farthest I can go for myself.

Meet Ruvie

Ruvie

Ruvie, Rowan's little sister. She follows every steps her big brother makes--from minute mechanic science projects into huge robotic facilities. However, her brother dies untimely in a failed experiment.

Ruvie was left with nothing. She hauls into the danger and masks herself as a boy. She believes that she can fulfill her brothers dream in his stead.

She will be known as Moona Rousse later on.

Meet Mogi

Mogi, character concept

Hi guys, meet Mogi. He is from a short story that I have brainstormed a long time ago. I have lots of stories in mind but so little time to write them down. I am happy that, for the meantime, I can sketch and concept the characters from my stories ahead.

Thanks for the visit. Good day!

re-Mona Illustration

Hi. I have made another illustration of Mona Rousse, a character from a story that has been on my mind for a very long time. This illustration is a remake of an early artwork, http://artofgzel.blogspot.com/2013/04/mona-roussesketch.html. In this artwork, I learned how to play with colors and how I can use them to enhance the look but not totally distract the image.

Sketch-o-day #18

Drained.
I had broken my mug.

I must have been staring at the shattered pieces for too long, not that I was shocked by the impact but because I was hit by a realization. Starting on Monday and for the rest of history, the office where I work is empty.

New Illustrations, finally ^^

Something that kept me busy for a while

These sketches are really something for me. I am gradually learning how to render my lines into color.

These illustrations are  for an illustrated children's book competition. Probably, these pieces are my entry point as an illustrator for children's storybooks. Can't wait to do more of these.

Thanks for visiting. ^^
