The Children I Met

I was invited to participate in a volunteer mission to teach children with special mental conditions. The place was somewhere in Paete, Laguna. We reached a Center for Children with mental disorders in the town. One of the children's mother was a friend of my friend who happen to be wanting to help special children. It was her plan from a long time ago and I never thought that it would come true. I was happy to be able to serve these children. 

And, I wanted to make a sketch of these children as part of my drawing journal. So here it is.

Emerline

Actually this is my second color render of Emerline. The first one was, unfortunately corrupted because of power cut off. 

A senior fellow artist in the office provided me a blank paper just to have me draw a character. He wanted my sketch as a souvenir and an addition to his collection of artist-friends artworks. I somehow overworked the shading but, nevertheless, he liked it as it is. I planned to show him the colored version above.
