During these past weeks, I've been taking this art lesson online about Visual Dev and Art Direction with Anthony Cristov as my mentor.
I've never focused so much time doing environment and sets before. Doing the course is helping me develop a huge understanding about it.
The first part of the course, we were asked to choose a short story we want to develop the visuals. I picked the "The Vendetta" by Guy de Maupassant simply because the author has reach descriptions of the world.
I started doing thumbnails of story beats that I think is very memorable for me.

Next thing, is to layout all the requirements to visualize the characters, props and environment.
And then, we make a plan on how I tackle the project especially for me to keep track of my to-do's and progress. I used a free web browser app to manage my task. It's called, Togglplan.
And below you can find the sketches I did to complete the course.
